The track plan is point to point with a 5 track staging yard located at each end of the 260’ mainline, 2 helixes connect the 3 levels. The layout is freelance, based on the New York/Western Massachusetts area, the time frame is 1957 or the early McGinnis era of the Baton and Maine.

Scenery is about 25% complete, using Howard Zane’s paper shell method as well as ground goop for the more open areas.  I have started experimenting using front silvered mirrors to extend views in a couple locations.

Directions

rts 19/41 south from Atlanta to Birdie Rd.  Left on Birdie, cross Jordon Hill to Del Web Parkway.  Left onto Del Web Blvd. Left on to Spring Forest, Left on Cobblestone to Sawgrass Place.  GPS wants you to take Jordon Hill to Spring Forest, that section of Spring Forest from Jordon Hill to Cobblestone is a construction dirt road that is gated and locked on weekends and evenings.  Also some GPS systems refer to Cobblestone as Evergreen…the road name was changed 2 years ago because of confusion because there is a similar road name in the complex.  Just follow the yellow signs from rts 19/41.
